COVID-19 Updates

Dear Pierremonts Customer,

With the news dominated by Coronavirus, we want to let you know that we are vigilantly implementing enhanced protocols to ensure your safety. The safety of you our customers and our staff is of paramount importance to us, and we are closely monitoring the news, information, advice and guidance from the World Health Organisation regarding the spread of the Coronavirus.

Additional precautions to help reduce the spread of the Coronavirus

We are closely monitoring the information shared by the World Health Organization and the National Health Department concerning advice on how to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.

In order to slow down the spread of the virus, we are taking the following actions:

We have enhanced our already robust cleaning techniques of our vehicles after each rental and in particular, we are paying special attention to places that people touch such as door handles, steering wheels, controls and other hard surfaces by cleaning these with alcohol-based sanitizer.

We are cleaning all our facilities frequently with recommended sanitizing products.  This includes work surfaces, telephone handsets, computer keyboards, laptops, tablets, cell phones and frequently handled equipment. We have placed hand sanitisers at key points in all of our sites to encourage customers, suppliers, visitors and employees to constantly clean their hands. Further to this surgical face masks and hand gloves have been provided to our site and can be used by employees, if they so choose.

Welfare of our Employees

We are taking steps to ensure the welfare of our employees and this includes instructing all employees who feel ill to stay at home and consult their healthcare providers. All our staff are being informed to be vigilant about frequent hand washing. We strongly advise against direct personal contact such as handshakes and hugging as this could also transmit the infection.

Existing Bookings

Any bookings in our system as from 15/03/2020 we will offer a full refund if the booking needs to be cancelled due to Coronavirus.  If you have an existing booking, we look forward to seeing you and want to reassure you that we are doing everything we can to promote a safe and secure rental experience for you.

Future Bookings

In order to enable you to book with confidence we have increased the flexibility on all future bookings, We will now be accepting unconfirmed bookings which will allow you to place a booking, which can be amended or cancelled at anytime without fees for rentals due to start before 18 march 2020.

To minimise the spread of COVID-19 we are asking all customers to make enquires via email or telephone. This will enable us to reduce the amount of customers on site at one time.

Going Forward

We advise all our customers to keep updated on the latest developments from the World Health Organisation and the National Health Department has set up a hotline (0800 0299 99) to respond to all COVID-19 related enquiries, including where you can get tested in your local area.

Our hearts are with those who have been affected personally by the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19) as well as the many communities around the world that are facing extreme measures in the attempt to slow its spread. During this challenging time, many people are choosing different ways to travel.  If you need a rental vehicle, we are here for you. Your safety is our highest priority and we truly appreciate the trust you place in our team and our company.

Whilst we are still open for business we are making temporary changes to our terms and conditions and the way we work. This will enable us to protect our staff and customers more.

Please ask yourself "is this hire absolutely necessary?"

We are now asking customers not to come to the office for general enquires and where possible to email your Driving Licence and check code before arrival. Once your Licence check is complete we will call you for over the phone payment. When you arrive at the office you will be asked to show your Licence and payment card which must be in hirers name.

When given a collection and return time please stick to these times. If you cannot make these times please call the office and we will allocate you another time. This is really important as we are aiming for 1 customer on-site at any one time. When on-site please respect the social distancing procedures put in place. This is for your protection as much as our staffs.

Thank you in advance and stay safe.
